My Whole Year Apprenticeship

In my life I am very thankful to god for all the experiences that He had given me. Even if that experience can make me happy or sad. It always reminded me from the verse of the Romans 8:28 which says, "All things work together for good to those who love God and who are called according to his purpose". It means that whatever God gave us an experience whether it is good or bad in our eyes, we all know that God has a purpose.
In my apprenticeship, I experienced many things. During my first and second month of staying, I experienced different kinds of adjustments. I learned how to adopt with my new environment. Making friends with one another. Then in the third month I experienced also many things, I learned many things from the bible because of our bible study which was done three to four times a week. I also learned to do my duties in the church as an apprentice. Then it follows with the fourth month which I learned how to establish deep relationship with God because of my first assignment on preaching the gospel of God. I prayed to God that I can do it rightly. Then I am very thankful to God that I have delivered the message successfully. Then in the fifth month I fellowship with the pastors and bishops in the UCCP and IFI churches during the (CWAMIN) Church Workers Association in Mindanao which was held at Mainit, Surigao del Norte. I enjoyed activities and even the place which was such a peaceful place. Then in the sixth month I also experienced many things. I also enjoyed getting together with the youths of Alviola. I enjoyed and learned a lot of things in our fellowship. Much more enjoyment during the next month which was December. I help preparing the church for the celebration of christmas. I also enjoy joining the Christmas fellowship at Buenavista. Then in the 8th month of my staying I am happy to celebrate the new years day even if I'm not with my family. I feel that I am a part or a member of the family of Rev. Jerusa Semacio which is my adviser. During this month I am very excited also to face new challenges in this new year. Then in the next month is the month where I also enjoyed and feel such happiness. During the love Sunday I am very happy to see that everyone shows loving and caring to one another. Then in the last month of my apprenticeship I feel that I will miss my assignments and the things that which I enjoyed most. I am very thankful to God that I survived and enjoyed many things during my apprenticeship. Then i enjoyed knowing that when we seek our enjoyment to God, He will really give what we desire.

Reflection Story

While a father was polishing his new car,
his 4-year old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.

In the anger of the father to his son,
he took the child's hand
and hit it many times.
He didn't realize that he hit
the child's hand with a wrench.

Then at the hospital,
his child asked,

"dad when will my fingers Grow back?"

Then the father was so hurt,
so he went back to his car
and kicked it a lot of times.

While setting back,
he looked at the scratches
where his child made.

You Lord are my shepherd.
